Review by : John F. Dini

An excellent evening, as always. Eric announces his presence by cutting loose just before he walks into the sight of the audience, and pretty much plays for the next two hours non-stop. He does every song in his catalog with the word "blues" in the title, from Cream's "Outside Woman Blues" through "Bell Bottom Blues." Derek Truck is a fabulous guitarist, but when he is the center piece it's hard not to think "Nice, but fergoshsakes that's ERIC standing beside him!" Blasted through the set with an average of 15 seconds between numbers. Finished with "Layla." Encore of "Cocaine" and "Crossroads" with six axes lined up side by side across the stage. A night of guitar heaven.
