In addition to the great sounds, it is just pure FUN to watch EC interact with Nathan, especially. Great SMILES from both the blokes! I love the FLUB-A-DUB Eric plays and the cute little balloon rising from his mouth; almost no drummer puts more energy into his playing than Phil Collins, so the interaction there is fun as well. I rented this one several times before I ever bought it; can you believe I found it in a $1 store?
Give it a watch.

I would say that the Eric Clapton & Friends concert is truly excellent! I saw it live in Madison Square Garden. Then I saw it broadcasted on VH1 in New York. And Finally I purchased the Video. Let me just say that they cut so many good Eric Clapton songs that were not on the final video.
I really enjoyed Eric Clapton and his band (including Nathan East, David Sanborn, Tim Carmon)! You could feel that the man was back and better than ever!!! I really enjoyed his fast acoustic version of Tears in Heaven. Tim Carmon (the keyboardist) had an amazing solo at the end of Old Love. Sheryl and Eric had an amazing duet on Little Wing (which they also played during Sheryl's concert in the Central Park). It's funny but at the concert when Sheryl and Mary came on stage, half of the place emptied out. But it all came back together when Clapton and Dylan took stage!!!

As a video, it's great. But I found that I prefer to get a Clapton video (with just Eric) so some of the other songs (which aren't Eric's) are not my taste. i.e. Mary J Blige.
Although Tim Carmon does one of the best solos I've ever seen on a keyboard PLUS David Sanborn does a superb solo on the Sax so all round a good video.
