This song was written by Bob Dylan, he and EC have been friends for years and this isn't the only song of his EC has done. EC sings this with his deep, mellow voice superbly. The rhythm is played on an electric guitar which is very strong, whilst the lead is played on a Dobro, which sounds beautiful. I personally think EC plays Dobro better than anyone else, such emotion and perfection. This is a great track, an EC classic. Plus there are other classics on the disc, 'Tears in Heaven' and 'Wonderful Tonight.' Even if someone wasn't an EC fan, they would still enjoy listening to these classics. |
