An excellent audience recording. An easy recording to spot as the taper has some mic problems during "Cocaine". |

Just when you thought Eric had retired, he's back and the sound has changed again. This has a much more Derek and the Dominoes feel to the whole thing. I bought this particular album cos it's got Five Long Years on it and I love that song (ever since FTC). Other great tracks are I Shot The Sheriff, Bell Bottom Blues and a very earthy sounding Layla. Great sound, Doyle Bramhall seems to bring something special to EC's playing, if you ever thought if Eric's still got it, rest assured he has and it's still there in abundance. |
