Honestly Guys, don't kid yourselves. I was at this show, since it was in my hometown and I was a little disappointed. There were moments when EC did shine, but not nearly as many as on other occasions. Personally, I thought his stop at MSG on the Reptile tour last year was MUCH MUCH better. I saw the first two nights and on both nights (but ESPECIALLY on the second), he was in the best form I've seen him in. I have that show on bootleg too!

If this CD is anything to go by then I can't wait to buy the DVD! There are some storming versions of the classics my personal favourites were Going Down Slow with excellent sax from David Sanborn, Old Love and Layla. Great quality sound and I'll be comparing this with the DVD soon, well worth it...

Absolutely stunning sound!  This is good enough for official release!  My favorites were 'Hoochie Coochie Man', 'Old Love', 'Going Down Slow', and 'Layla', probably the best live version of that song that I've ever heard. Only thing that would have made it better would have been to include 'Little Wing' (amazing duel between Clapton and David Sanborn), and Sheryl Crow's 'The Difficult Kind', Eric's slide playing is stunning!  Any chance those songs are available anywhere?
