Fillmore Blues Night
"Fillmore Blues Night" - Paddington Records - PADVD-01 - PRO DVD
Recorded on 7th November 1994 at the Fillmore, San Francisco
Geetarz Comments:
This first of three performances at San Francisco's Fillmore was filmed by
Martin Scorcese's crew in order to help plan out camera moves for the following
nights. Shot with a single camera and with (monaural) soundboard audio, this
recording has been available to collectors in varying degrees of quality for
years but this is the finest we have seen to date. Enhanced even further by a
nicely done authoring job, this Paddington release is the definitive visual
document of this tasty performance. Recommended.

I saw this years ago, and to date it is the very best Clapton performance I have ever seen on film. This leaves you breathless, and wondering how he can keep getting more and more out of his guitar and his performance. I rate it OVERWHELMING! |
